Emerald's Voucher Store module lets any mobile operator or dealer create, distribute and track prepaid vouchers. Subscribers can buy these vouchers and redeem them for airtime. The solution provides all the functionality necessary to generate prepaid vouchers and their PINs, manage the voucher life cycle and to enable redemption of the vouchers. It is suitable for use as an airtime voucher system or for any other requirement that involves PIN-based vouchers. The solution includes a comprehensive management interface that can be used by operators, their distributors and the end-customer. The solution supports both printed and virtual vouchers.

Emerald is a flexible PIN-less airtime distribution system that enables independent resellers to sell airtime to mobile subscribers. The subscribers buy airtime from your distribution network and receive it directly via a top-up on the IN platform. Emerald supports any-value top-ups and subscriber-to-subscriber transfers. Emerald includes many different access channels. The SMS channel supports the selling of airtime by agents and transfer of airtime between subscribers. The USSD channel supports the same functions, but also includes mini-statements and PIN changes. The CORBA channel is primarily for integration by third parties and for provisioning purposes. The Web Channel is the main administrative interface and allows access to all functionality.
Emerald Voucher Printing

Emerald VP is used to print physical Vouchers at distribution points on demand. It supports a local voucher store running on site at each customer location. The customer orders vouchers from a main distribution site using available funds allocated in a general ledger account. The vouchers are then downloaded and stored in an encrypted format. Customers can view stock levels and print the vouchers on paper templates.
